Inverted nipple a sign of cancer?

Is an inverted nipple only associated with inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) or can it be present in other types of breast cancer?
An inverted nipple can be seen in a lot of conditions, some of which are benign and some of which are malignant. It is not always associated with breast cancer, and even when it is, it is not necessarily associated with inflammatory breast cancer. This is the type of condition that you should report to your doctor to be evaluated further.
